It is a great pleasure to welcome you to Dubai English Speaking College: We opened our doors in September 2005 for Key Stage Three students and our expansion into Key Stage Four continued in September 2007, Key Stage 5 begins in September 2009.
This is an exciting time for the development of DESC, not only for those students entering from DESS Primary but also for students arriving from other feeder schools in Dubai, neighbouring Gulf States and schools overseas.
DESC will ensure a high level of academic success for every one of our students while ensuring the personal development of the whole child. In a fast changing world, we prepare our students to take their places in society as confident and contented young adults.
As a new school we have tremendous facilities, incorporating the most up to date resources and technology. However, 'people' are at the heart of our school. DESC staff are a dedicated and committed group of individuals who will ensure that your child's school days will be ones of challenge, fulfilment and contentment.
In the Information section of this site, you will find, amongst other information, an application form, which includes details of those documents required to apply for a place at DESC. Upon receipt of the completed form, we will arrange an interview and short test for your son or daughter, after which, we will do our utmost to ensure that the application process is expedited as quickly and with as little stress as possible.
